Some Utah schools were back in session this week and the remainder head back next week. One thing I have learned as an American Consumer is that back to school equals great deals. Where have you found the best deals?
I "Goggled" "back to school deals 2009" and I was amazed at the results. I was mostly amazed at the number of results; 261,000,000 to be exact. Guess who held the number one position on organic results? Yep, Apple and their back to school offer of "Buy a Mac and get a Touch for FREE". Here's a list of the other results from my Google search.

About a month and a half ago my family visited Zion National Park in southern Utah. We found out that the National Park Service (NPS) offers a few fee free weekends during the year.
Well, the last weekend is here. This weekend (Aug 15-16) is fee free. You will be able to enter all National Parks at no cost to you. This is a great opportunity considering a 1 to 7-day pass to Zion is $25. Is Zion too far for a quick weekend trip? Try Timpanogos Cave National Monument. They are participating in the fee free weekend. If you are planning on just going to the cave, the National Forest Service is also waiving the $6 fee to enter American Fork Canyon. A family of four will save $30 if they visit this weekend. For more information on the fee free weekends visit nps.gov.
