$6,000 Utah Housing Grant

If you haven't heard about it, here you go.

This week Governor Huntsman signed Senate Bill 260 or the Utah Housing Grant. This program is sure to boost the new home market in Utah. You will need to act fast because it has some specific requirements.

$10,000,000 in grant funds will be used. This should cover just over 1,600 new home buyers.
These funds can only be used on 'New Homes'.
There is no 'first time buyer' requirements.
These funds DO NOT need to be repaid by the recipient.
Funds can be used for closing costs, rate buy down, down payment or principle reduction.
Once it's gone, it's gone!
